It’s been a while since our last post, but now we’re back! Although, fair warning, we won’t be posting as much in the near future, as time is a precious thing between university and work and maintaining a social life, this semester even more so than in the past.
Anyway, Pippin and I did a 2 week roadtrip through Scotland in September, and now that the photos have been processed and sorted, I thought I might share some of them here.
Pippin – whom you’ve seen in this post – and I went to one of the most beautiful cities on this planet: Venice, Italy. It was in March, so the weather was good enough, and the city was almost empty, which was amazing.
It took me a while to get down to doing this post, because I took wayyyy too many pictures and had to sort through them, and then I had to sit down and edit them so that they would fit into this post.
But now I finally have the time, so here we go!
We were in Purgatory – and it was awesome! Just like last year and the year before that, we went to Purgatory Con in Düsseldorf, and, just like the previous years, it was f*cking amazing! I dare say, even better.
We drove far, through mist and rain and snow and mountains. We drove through three countries, sang a lot of songs, and discussed a lot of things. And then we finally, finally reached it: Budapest.
T’was a long journey. But t’was worth it – read on for more details and more or less blurry/beautiful pictures.
Yesterday, we went to the World Premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 in Berlin. Present were Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Willow Shields, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Natalie Dormer, Jenna Malone, Francis Lawrence, Sam Claflin, Julianne Moore, Stanley Tucci, Michelle Forbes and about 6000 fans.
Well, will you look at that – we finallly got around to making a post about our vacation in Spain this summer! It took us a while, because there were a lot of photos to sort through, but here we are, writing about it.
Technically, it was a family vacation; my family decided to go to Catalonia for our annual summer vacation, and because I’ve grown quite tired of the constant tensing between certain relatives of mine, I’ve decided that I would not join them unless Frodo came with me. And, I mean, my family might not be the coolest people on this planet, but they’re all right when it comes down to it, and it was a free vacation, in Spain, so why would Frodo say no? (I may or may not have bullied her into coming with me. But she’s never been to Barcelona, and we wanted to go but hadn’t found the time or money to do it, and now we had both, so I don’t feel particularly guilty).
Anyway, here’s the post about it. It’s mostly pictures, of course, because, let’s face it, we’re not exactly adventurous, and usually play it safe with planning ahead and whatnot.
