Once upon a time (about a year ago), in a dorm in a hostel in New Zealand, two girls met. They (very) quickly discovered that they were very much the same, and decided to travel Middle-Earth together. And that is how we, Frodo and Sam, got to spend 5 months with each other, 24/7, and work out the depth of our shared craziness. Ever since the first 48 hours, we have been complaining about both being straight – and consequently not being able to be together – every goddamn day. The world is funny that way. (And yet there are still people out there saying that homosexuality is a choice. Bullsh*t.)
We both love fiction, and Jared Padalecki (and his wife Genevieve, who, by the way, asked us if we were sisters), and like to think of ourselves as children of the world.
Frodo in a few words: she’s a fangirl, backpacker, student, book lover, blogger, Pilates addict, and the ultimate apple lover (like, seriously, she would marry an apple if she could. Or live in one).
And Sam: she’s a fangirl, backpacker, student, book lover, chocolate addict and published author (very pretentious, that one).
That about sums us up; any other information will be found in our posts. Or here and here

Love your blog – it brings back memories of backpacking around NZ 20 yrs ago with a hostel-met friend as well. It was pre LOTR so we made up our own stories as we worked out the depth of our shared craziness…long may the tradition continue! Best tag line EVER, btw!

Hi! My name is Christina Clawson, and I’m reaching out to you as a fellow blogger and girl geek. I’ve started a blog and small online shop called Geekyloot.com – and I would love to know what you think of the site, and what sorts of items you’d like to see offered in the future (specifically what fandoms you’re into!). I’d also love to do a blog post about your site or possibly have you write some articles for us and vice versa? There’s never enough good press in the world and I think the only way we really can grow our ideas and spread them is through reaching out to others. If you are at all interested in working with me, I’d love to hear back from you!
