Becca tagged us to do this thing, which is awesome – thank you!
Lorelai – A character with a witty or sarcastic sense of humor
Sam: Harry Potter. Even at 10 years old, Harry was a sassy little sh*t.
Frodo: Jace Wayland – I just love his humor.
Rory – Your favorite classic
Sam: I’m going to count The Lord of the Rings as a classic, because school has made me hate “real” classics, and I’m not quite over that yet.
Frodo: If Samscounts LotR as classic, I will do the same. So LotR.
Luke – A book you secretly love, but are afraid to admit.
Sam: I don’t really have one. I’m over being afraid to admit when I like something.
Frodo: None. I am an open book when it comes to books I love (see what I did there?)
Lane – A musical character
Sam: Mia in If I Stay. Her Cello is her life, and I’d love to hear her play it!
Frodo: Jem from the Infernal Devices.
Dean- Your first book love (character or book you first loved!)
Sam: It’s a tie between Meggie from Inkheart and the Golden Trio.
Frodo: Lord of the Rings.
Sookie – A book you’ve devoured.
Sam: A Court of Mist And Fury. Well, that was the last one I devoured, not the only one.
Frodo: A Court of Mist and Fury. (yes I am sooo creative :D)
Jess- A book you love, that gets the most hate.
Sam: Nope, there’s none.
Frodo: Same for me.
Miss Patty – A book that was ruined by the hype
Sam: I’m not sure if this counts because it’s a script, but I’m gonna go with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. There were too many expectations because I love Harry Potter, and it did not live up to them.
Frodo: Twilight – because when I was 13 I loved it. But all the hype destroyed everything (and in the end I’m glad about that…).
Emily Gilmore – An expensive book
Sam: The Painted Man by Peter V. Brett. I really want to read this because I’ve heard great things, but it’s 25 bucks! In the edition that I want, at least. I’m picky like that.
Frodo: Breaking Dawn was really expensive (25 bucks – and I read it once!) as well as the last Harry Potter book.
Paris – An uptight character
Sam: Caenis Al Nysa, Raven’s Shadow series. I mean, all the characters in that series are a little uptight because they’re kinda like monks, but Caenis beats them all with his unshakeable belief in the King and the Order and his unwillingness to forgive the mistakes of others. He doesn’t even try to understand them.
Frodo: Hermione in the first Harry Potter. But just until the troll incident. Then she just got awesome.
We tag everyone who wants to do this! Have fun 🙂
