This week’s 5 Fandom Friday is supposed to be 5 Favorite Late To The Game TV Discoveries, but because we didn’t really come up with 5 of those, we decided to just do the opposite and list 5 TV Shows We Watched From The Beginning.
And I hereby apologize for the lack of a 5 Fandom Friday post last week. We were too busy, and then we forgot, and then it wasn’t Friday anymore, so we thought f*ck it, we’ll just skip this one. Sorry.
1. Arrow
I don’t really remember how I learned about this show, but I did, and I watched it, and I enjoyed it enough to stick around until the current season.
2. The Flash
I remember watching the episode of Arrow where they first introduced Barry Allen and thinking that he’s a really nice character. And then I found out that he was getting his own show, and that he was going to be the Flash, and I joined the hype for this show. So far, I have not been disappointed. Granted, it was a bit cheesy at first, but it got better and better with every episode.
3. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Granted, this was super hyped as well, especially in the Marvel fandom. And we are part of that fandom. So we knew pretty early on that Phil Coulson was not dead, and was getting his own show; we thought “sweet”, checked it out, and stuck around through the bumpy start to find that this show, too, got better and better.
4. Agent Carter
Who didn’t love Agent Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger? She was awesome in that movie (seriously, the movie kinda sucks, but she made it a lot better in our opinion), and when they announced that she was getting her own TV show, we got very excited. And we have not been disappointed! Season 1 was great, season 2 is awesome. If you’re looking for a show with a kick-ass female lead, check out Agent Carter! If you’re not… check it out anyway. It’s awesome.
5. Sherlock
I don’t remember how I came across Sherlock, but it was right when the first episode came out. I loved it so much that I impatiently waited for episode two. And now I’m waiting (still impatiently) for season 4 with the rest of the world. God only knows if that’s ever going to happen… Probably when both Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are old and grey and need to be pushed around on set in a wheelchair. Did that sound bitter? Sorry.
Aw, Agent Carter + Flash ❤

Nice picks! I’m completely in love with the Agent Carter series:) I wish for more scenes of Jarvis chasing Bernard the flamingo.
