This week’s 5 Fandom Friday is a list of our 5 favorite fictional teachers – which shouldn’t be too hard, but it might be very… well, it may happen that Harry Potter characters fill up all those spots. But maybe not. I guess we’ll see about it.
1. Bobby Singer
Our first teacher isn’t even a “real” teacher. Bobby doesn’t teach at a school but he does teach our favorite Winchesters. So we count him as our number one, because in our eyes it doesn’t matter whether or not you have actual students. Bobby’s students are his “adopted sons”. So if Bobby isn’t perfect for this list, we don’t know who is.
2. Professor Lupin
He might have a “hairy” problem but he is still a great teacher. Actually one of the best teacher in “Defense againt the Dark Arts” Harry had in his whole school time. At least he knows what he is talking about. Also he is our favorite Marauder.
3. Professor McGonagall
She isn’t the youngest or the nicest teacher, but she is bad-ass and fair. Her exams might be hard, but you learn a lot in her class. And she has one of the coolest lines in HP 7.2. We mean, come on, who doesn’t like McGonagall?! (If you don’t you are just wrong!)
4. Professor Dumbledore
The greatest wizard alive (or not. Spoiler?). If that doesn’t say it all. Dumbledore might have tons of secrets and not the easiest past, but he is the perfect example that people can outgrow their mistakes and become awesome! He’s full of wisdom, but he makes mistakes as well – because he is still just human (suprise!). Also he throws around epic quotes.
5. Haymitch Abernathy
He is always drunk and sarcastic but still, Katniss and Peeta wouldn’t have survived without Haymitch. His story in the Hunger Games is a hard one to swallow and we get why he is how he is today. So it’s good to see that he gets his shit together (more of less) to help our star-crossed lovers.
