There’s this TV show coming in 2016 called The Shannara Chronicles. We read about it somewhere, and because it sounded like the kind of thing we love to watch/read, and was being filmed in New Zealand, we checked it out. We even made a little post about the trailer, because we’re looking forward to this show.
The trailer(s) looked interesting, so I decided to check out the book it’s based on: The Elfstones of Shannara, by Terry Brooks. I got it for my birthday, I read it, and now I want to talk about it a little.
We must admit, we do not know too many Halloween episodes of TV shows, and even less of shows that we both watch. We could count those on one hand. On one finger, to be exact.
So we decided to subtly change this week’s 5 Fandom Friday into our 5 Favorite Halloween-appropriate Supernatural Episodes, because, yes, Supernatural is the only TV show we could think of that we both watch and that has a Halloween episode. And because, Sam Winchester said it:
And by us I mean the Supernatural fandom, of course. Okay, here we go.
CBS’ Supergirl has finally premiered! We watched it, and now we want to talk about it a bit.
This week’s Merchandise Monday is Middle-Earth centred (again. Sorry).
It’s an Andúril letter opener!
So there’s a new trailer for the Marvel series Jessica Jones, coming to Netflix on November 20th – and thank god that’s so soon, because it looks awesome!
To be honest, there’s not too much to say about this. I mean, of course there is, but I won’t bore you with another too long post about a trailer. I just wanted to share it with those who haven’t seen this yet, because we’re looking forward to this show, even though we know nothing about the comics. It looks dark and amazing, and we love the music. And the villain looks amazing, but David Tennant has proven himself to be good at playing those, hasn’t he? Anyway, we think it looks cool, and we’re excited for the show!

We’ve mentioned it before – Halloween isn’t that big of a deal around here, so we don’t actually do Halloween. We don’t dress up and go trick-or-treating (some kids do, though, which is cute), and although there’s probably some Halloween parties, we’re not exactly the partying type, so we don’t even know about any of those.
That being said, we still like thinking about what it is that we would dress up as if we were to go to a party, or go trick-or-treating. So here it is: our 5 Fandom Friday list of 5 character we would dress up as for Halloween.
