Harry Potter Questionnaire

Since we did a Tolkien Questionnaire, it was totally clear that we needed to do a Harry Potter one! Because we love Harry Potter and we are still waiting for our letter from Hogwarts *pretty please?*. And did we mention that both of us own at least one wand? So yeah, let’s go for it!

What is your favourite book?

Frodo: This is hard. I love every book. But I think the Half-Blood Prince owns my heart.

Sam: Why do people always make you pick favorites? I love all of them equally. But maybe The Deathly Hallows a little more, because I’m a sucker for happy endings.

What is your favourite film?

Frodo: This time it is the third movie 🙂

Sam: Same.

What is your least favourite book?

Frodo: I think the Order of the Phoenix. Sirius 😦 also Umbridge (I think that explains everything!)

Sam: I’m not picking a least favorite one. Like I said, I love all of them equally. And I need to break the rules at some point in my life *evil laugh*

What is your least favourite film?

Frodo: The sixth! I was so disappointed! The whole teen drama sucks and they cut out so much good stuff from the book!

Sam: The Half-Blood Prince, too. I hated how they focussed so much on the stupid love stories, made Ginny all weird and weak, and cut out almost all of Voldermort’s past even though those were the best parts in the book.

Which parts of the book made you cry?

Frodo: I don’t cry. I just get fustrated and furious and throw books against walls when I don’t agree with the choices the author made.

Sam: I managed to get through all seven books without shedding a single tear – up until Fred’s death.

If you had to hook up with any character who would it be?

Frodo: That’s a stupid question….

Sam: … next?

Who is your favourite character?

Frodo: The Golden Trio and book-Ginny.

Sam: What she said.

Who is your least favourite character?

Frodo: UMBRIDGE!!! No one likes her!! She is the worst!

Sam: Seriously? Is there any sane person that’s not gonna pick Umbridge?

What is your least favourite line?

Frodo: I don’t think I have one.

Sam: Every line in those books is perfect.

What would your patronus be?

Frodo: I wish I could answer this question but I don’t have any idea! 😦 maybe a Hobbit? 😀

Sam: Maybe Frodo? That’d scare the cr*p out of the Dementors (and Frodo) and make everyone else giggle.

If you could have the Resurrection Stone, the Invisibility Cloak or the Elder Wand, which would it be?

Frodo: The Invisibility Cloak! This would be so much fun!

Sam: I’d go under the Cloak with Frodo, so I wouldn’t need one. So I guess I’d take the stone, but mostly so no one else can have it because it does more harm than good.

Which house would you be in?

Frodo: I would love to be in Gryffindor but I bet I would be in Hufflepuff because I am not that brave.

Sam: According to Pottermore, I’m in Ravenclaw.

If you could meet any member of the cast who would it be?

Frodo: Emma Watson please!

Sam: Emma Watson.

If you were on the quidditch team which position would you play?

Frodo: Commentator.

Sam: Bench-warmer.

Were you happy with the ending?

Frodo: Yes, but I want more! Then again, who doesn’t? 😀

Sam: Yes, but I thought the way they did it in the movies was weird.

How much does Harry Potter mean to you?

Frodo: Hogwarts is my home (after the Shire, because I’m Frodo f*cking Baggins).

Sam: I grew up with it; the books were my safe-haven throughout my childhood, and I still find myself going back to them whenever I feel like I want to go home.
