“The World Is Not In Your Books And Maps, It’s Out There”

This is not fandom related – not per se – but the “on the road” of the name of the blog has to play in at some point (besides New Zealand, but that’s most definitely fandom-related)! So we decided to post a couple of pictures we took in Vienna. And, to mix it up a little from your usual tourist-pictures, we thought it would be fun to take our Sam, Dean and Charlie Funko!Pops with us. And take the pictures with them. Or of them. Or whatever. Just… here you go.

It was raining on the first day, so we decided to go to the Natural History Museum.

On the second day, we had amazing weather, which was perfect for a visit to “Schloss Schönbrunn“. It’s gigantic (although not as big as Versailles, and has a lot less gold, thank Chuck). And holy cr*p, the gardens. Or park. It’s probably a park.

That’s the side of it, though, not the front. It’s a lot bigger from the front.

Like, this big.

The next day we went to see “Schloss Belvedere“, but because we had heard that it was a lot prettier to look at than to visit, we decided not to go in.

Last day: the “Stephansdom“. We went up that tower – at least half of it, ’cause you can’t go all the way up. And let me tell you, that is a lot of stairs to climb. Totally worth it, though. The view is amazing from up there.

Please forgive my incredible talent to not make straight pictures. I cannot tell you how much it annoys me that I somehow am not capable of taking pictures where the horizon is as straight a line as it’s supposed to be.
